If you're not up to date with Frostpunk 2, this one takes place thirty years after the post-apocalyptic blizzard swallowed the Earth. It's incredibly unpleasant, but I am so pumped to play it.

The cinematic trailer (so no gameplay just yet) showed lots of fire, general chaos, and lots of dead bodies, as well as a gritty narrator justifying human sacrifice for innovation. So much so that I'm already dreading the choices that this follow-up will chuck at me. The scope and gameplay quality here is expanded upon, though, as you now have to scavenge for an all-new resource for your city’s generator in order to survive the cold.Okay, but like this trailer scares me a little. However, the game doesn’t support 32-bit systems even for its minimum requirements.

In terms of graphics, it remains the same and doesn’t have a lot of animations your device needs to play through.

In Frostpunk 2, this dilemma returns in all its glory as the plot takes the players 30 years after the devastating end of the first game. This, in turn with the game’s emphasis on storytelling, is what made it nominated and won various awards - becoming a highly acclaimed title in its genre. The extreme conditions of the climate allowed the game to impose a moral dilemma between survival and humanity. This entails managing resources, making tough decisions on laws, and exploring the dangerous area outside the city - all the while facing different scenarios and challenges.

In the game, you play as the leader of a group of survivors in an alternate late 19th-century world, who must build and maintain a warm city during a worldwide volcanic winter. Frostpunk is a city-building survival video game developed and published by 11 bit studios.
